I've just got an Epi JP (used) and have a Fender Mexican strat ... I'm not an electric guitar player, but essentially an acoustic (three Martins in my stack)...... don't gig and play mostly for my personal amusement.

I was looking at one of the Fender Blues Jr. for a nice, clean, warm tone for both the JP and the Strat.

What's your take in a $ 500 budget/range ?

Some dude over at the Fender Forum pointed me in the direction of a 6151 on Ebay. Once I saw it, I had to have it, and now that the auction has finished, its mine!

The amp is a single ended 6V6 circuit with an 8 inch Jensen. Have you had any specific experience with one of these?

I have a couple of issues with it though - I continually fight microphonics, but have finally found a tube combination that works - no problem - BUT when I adjust the volume I am getting a loud "POP."
